I am a Licensed Psychotherapist working with individuals and couples in the East Bay and San Francisco Bay Area. I provide depth-oriented psychotherapy and work from a relational psychodynamic approach, which means that while we will address the here-and-now and your immediate concerns, I will gently guide you towards gaining a deeper understanding of how past experiences, your relationships, your origins and unconscious, and the broader social context and systems in which you live may impact present day difficulties. I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, race and identity concerns, career and school issues, life transitions, grief and loss, low self-esteem, insight development, and trauma healing and recovery. My subspeciality is working with those who identify as people of color, first and second generation Americans, immigrants, and multicultural individuals.
